Joanne Elliot, Personal Assistant: Colleague of the Year

“I’m absolutely delighted, humbled and to be honest quite emotional to be nominated. To be recognised for such an award was amazing, especially when we have such an abundance of brilliant women that work in the Group. Most people know that I love my job and so this is just wonderful. Without these types of award, we could miss out on the unlocked potential of female employees at all levels, and consequently sacrifice the commercial advantage of a gender inclusive workforce.”

Any form of recognition is truly amazing, especially when it’s not something that you’ve specifically set out to achieve, so to have been nominated within this category means a great deal to me.
